Claire McMillan

Claire’s relationship with yoga began when a surgery forced her to move her focus away from the other activities she loved, such as running and weight lifting. Looking for a new physical outlet that would be kind to her healing body, Claire dived head first into her yoga practice. Her true passion for yoga blossomed when she saw how it created a beautifully balanced connection between the physical and mental aspects of life. The yoga mat is a place where one can slow down, listen and find the space to reconnect with themselves and their strength in a fascinating way. Claire has found joy and peace through yoga and her passion for teaching is founded in a desire to share this healing feeling with others. While Vinyasa Yoga has been integral part of her practice, her teaching style focuses more on the measured aspects of yoga, such as Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. She also has developed a passion for Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and weaves aspects of those principals into her classes. Claire loves expanding her yoga practice in the beautiful landscapes of Idaho and enjoys hiking, backing and camping with her husband and two dogs.
