My journey into yoga has been a natural progression from my clinical training and 11 years as a mental health counselor. Throughout my career, as I moved more deeply into the specialization of trauma treatment, I came to understand the crucial role of our physical bodies in healing from difficult experiences. Yoga philosophy has become a bridge between the clinical and spiritual concepts that I most naturally connect with. Owning and teaching at Yoga 430 has been an amazing journey in personal and professional growth. Our students and supporters are so fantastic and I look forward to each class that I get to share with you all! I hope to contribute to a unique approach to students’ practices, based on my personal experience and integrated professional expertise. I strive to create a safe space for students of all levels to explore and nurture their needs throughout the various components of their practice. It is a priority of mine to make yoga accessible, meaningful and enjoyable. Of course, with a bit of playfulness and a whole lot of self-kindness! And as I say time after time – I am here for guidance and suggestions, but YOU are always the expert when it comes to your body. I hope to see you on the mat soon!
